Roundtable Discussion at the Unitarian Universalist Church:  Homeless Animal No-Kill Success Stories

Sunday, Feb. 26th, at 10 a.m., in the church's library, Michel Meunier and Jeanne Gilbert of ACTion Programs for Animals (APA) will discuss several No Kill success stories in the United States, which are growing year-by-year.  What do these success stories tell us about where Las Cruces stands in the world of modern, progressive approaches to companion animal-welfare issues?  APA will highlight the way those communities got to the point where they save more than 90% of their homeless animals, and what our community needs to do to get to that poin, too.  Michel Meunier is President/Executive Director of APA and Jeanne Gilbert is the organization's vice president.
